As part of its support for cultural and creative industries, the Institut français announces the opening of the call for applications for its residency program at the Cité internationale des arts.

Each year, more than 70 international artists are hosted at the Cité internationale des arts as part of the Institut français' program, which support them during their research stay. The Cité internationale des arts offers a unique environment, located in the heart of Paris. It welcomes more than 300 recipients at the same time, thus offering a real community of encounters, discovery and work to artists from all over the world.

This programme is intended for foreign artists, residing exclusively outside of France, wishing to develop a research and creation project in Paris, in all artistic disciplines. Artists must be supported by one or several cultural partners.

The French cultural network abroad and/or the associated partners, in France or abroad, are invited to submit applications on the IFProg platform, until 6 November 2022, included.

The selection committee will pay particular attention to inclusion, diversity and gender balance among the selected applications. Projects with an eco-responsible scope are strongly encouraged.
