Milan Design Triennial
The XXII Triennial di Milano takes place from 1st March to 1st September 2019, under the curatorship of Paola Antonelli — Senior Curator of the Department of Architecture & Design and R&D Director of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Entitled “Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival", it reflects on the relationship between humans and the environment at all scales — from the microbiome to the cosmos, by way of our social, cultural and natural ecosystems.
The French offering “From Thought to the Visible. Design As A Large Ring" highlights ten practical, urgent and forward-looking projects. It reconnects with a spirit that belongs both to a certain aspect of Frenchness and to design as a discipline: the link between thought and the shaping of objects.
