Cinémas du monde Pavilion

Foreign professionals / French professionals
The Institut Français, in partnership with France Médias Monde (RFI, France 24 and Monte Carlo Doualiya) and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), is organizing the Cinémas du monde Pavilion as part of the Cannes Film Festival and Marché du Film.

Sharing a common desire to support cultural and creative industries and promote intercultural dialogue, the Institut français and its partners are putting their resources and expertise at the service of the film industry, offering them a place to work and meet at the heart of the world's biggest film festival.

At the heart of the Cannes Festival Village International, the Cinémas du monde Pavilion welcomes French and international industry professionals.  The Pavilion reflects the Institut français year-round commitment to promoting French and world cinema.

A platform for meetings, work and exchanges, the Pavilion brings together artists, institutions and representatives of the French diplomatic network abroad.  A forum for dialogue between French and foreign cinema, the Pavilion is home to one of the Institut Français's flagship programs, the Fabrique Cinéma, and offers a rich program of round tables, conferences, masterclasses, professional meetings and networking events throughout the festival.

It also showcases the industry in its broadest dimensions, including books, through the program co-constructed with SCELF (Shoot The Book!), transmedia and virtual reality.
