Ittah Yoda is formed by Kai Yoda and Virgile Ittah, who live between Berlin, Paris and Tokyo. Coming from diverse backgrounds, they have developed their artistic identity as a duo through traditional processes as well as digital technology, a vector of cross-cultural creative collaborations with a strong focus on materiality. This collaboration gives birth to real and virtual forms that attempt to connect with an archaic heritage of humanity and a collective unconscious universally present in the psyche of an individual.
The duo Ittah Yoda highlights the performative dimension of their installation through the active participation of the public. Thus attempts to create a new reality using a rhizomic network of connections between the work and the viewer, linking virtual and physical realities, at the origin of new landscapes and the world to come. The artists Kai Yoda and Virgile Ittah are currently in residence at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, they have also been in residence at the VR Incubator, in partnership with Swsand the Format C organization in Podstrana.

Surface to skin is about collective emotional communication by co-creating a hybrid form.
They seek to develop primitive models through forms non-existent in reality to a collective experience, irrespective of their origins in the context of a contemporary multicultural society.
The visual and sound communication between AI and the public experiencing their VR would result asa constantly changing, moving image displayed on transparent led screen and sound chorus during the exhibition.
