The Institut français programmes and projects
La Fabrique Cinéma de l’Institut français is a partner of Realness since its beginning to allow the selection of a French-speaking African screenwriter among the participants.
In order to carry on with their action of fostering the development of digital creation and cultural innovation, the Institut français and the French cultural network abroad have invited approximately fifteen foreign professionals, from June 24th to June 28th 2019 in Paris and La Rochelle, to meet French actors in the field of digital mediation and cultural innovation.
In both dramatic and comedic roles, French actress Karin Viard cultivates a nuanced performance style that enriches the life force of all her characters.
Why a FranceDanse Germany edition?
The FranceDanse editions showcase French choreography. Through solos, duos and group pieces put together for major national theatres and experimental workshops and meetings with the public, FranceDanse lets you discover well-known and emerging artists who have had little experience of performing abroad. After the 2016 edition in Brazil and the 2017 edition in Central and Eastern Europe, the project will be rolled out in Germany in 2019-2020 and then in the United Kingdom in autumn 2019.
i-Portunus is a pilot project whose aim is to determine the best operational framework for a European mobility scheme for artists and culture professionals. The pilot is being implemented on behalf of the European Union by the Goethe-Institut, in consortium with the Institut français, Izolyatsia and Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts.
