The Institut français programmes and projects
Coordinated by the Institut français, the Night of Ideas is an annual event dedicated to the free circulation of ideas and knowledge. For its 6th edition, the event proposes to initiate a collective reflection, around the theme "Closer", on the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In order to fuel the debates on the proposed theme, the French Institute is offering, as it does every year, a selection of films via IFcinéma.
The 6th edition of the Nuit des idées (Night of Ideas) will take place on Thursday 28 January 2021 with the theme “Closer”. The central theme of the event is our relationship with space and others, for each of us and within our societies. The 24 hours of Night and Ideas will be broadcast on this page from 9 am (Paris time), on January 28, 2021.
