The Institut français programmes and projects
For this new edition devoted to the relationship between arts and sustainable development, the Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS) is taking place from 26 to 29 September in Seoul and Busan.
The Cameroonian historian and philosopher Achille Mbembe, author of a report on the new relations between Africa and France, submitted to the President of the French Republic on 5 October 2021, is now devoting himself to the Innovation for Democracy Foundation. After the launch of the Foundation on 6 October 2022, he will participate on 7 and 8 October in Johannesburg, South Africa, in the first Our Future - Africa-Europe Dialogues forum organised by the Institut français, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and numerous African partners. This is the first event in a cycle of 9 forums, the next stages of which will be Cameroon from 1er to 3 December 2022 and Algeria at the end of February 2023.
Founded in 2014 by David Dottelonde and Wandrille Marchais, architectural firm Atelier Senzu has made rehabilitation the core of its business. Awarded a prize as part of the Albums des Jeunes Architectes et Paysagistes 2020 (AJAP), this approach is now being deployed as part of a touring exhibition. The AJAP exhibition is touring internationally as part of the Institut français' La Collection.
The Zébrures d’automne festival from 21 September to 1 October 2022 will see artists from around the world performing in the streets and venues of Limoges for 10 days of theatre, dance and music. L’Archipel (Foyer of the Opéra and Place de République) will be the heart of the Zébrures d’automne this year.
As part of the IETM “WORK HARD, LIVE HARDER!” plenary meeting taking place in Belgrade from 29 September to 2 October 2022, Teatroskop is organising a discussion and conversation session for professionals living in South-East Europe and France, on 29 September 2022 at 3 pm. All of the artists and professionals concerned will be invited to it.
